Dunham-Bush has unveiled the HELIOS series — the ACHX-D — representing a new generation of high-efficiency air-cooled horizontal screw compressor chillers. Cooltech Corporation is the authorised distributor and installer of the Dunham-Bush ACHX-D in Bangladesh.
The ACHX-D offers a wide cooling capacity range from 93TR to 298TR (329kW to 875kW), making it suitable for large commercial buildings, hospitals, university campuses, and industrial facilities. The all-aluminium micro-channel condenser coil delivers superior heat transfer efficiency, and the twin compressor configuration with independent refrigerant circuits ensures redundancy and reliability — critical for mission-critical facilities.
The system uses environmentally friendly refrigerants: R134a (ODP = 0) and HFO-R513A (ODP = 0 and Low GWP), ensuring compliance with current and future environmental regulations. The advanced DB Director controller with Electronic Expansion Valve (EEV) provides excellent capacity control and operational stability across Bangladesh's variable ambient conditions.
